Neat Idea! I love garden flags. So, once they are on the pole losing them can be frustrating, Your audience may want to know that there is a device that Stop flags from flying off of garden flag poles. The device is called a Flag Coaster. It is functional and decorative!

looks like a great housewarming gift for my daughter and son in law. I suppose the flag holders are available at Hobby Lobby ? and placemats at Dollar stores ? Love these ideas that our downsized home can accommodate. thank you

Yes Brenda, you should be able to get the placemats at the Dollar Store, but honestly any fabric placemats would work. Check at Thrift Stores and yard sales too! I think you could find the garden flag holder at Hobby Lobby. I know AtHome and Lowe’s has them.

These are just too cute! I definitely have to do these soon. Maybe I can get to the Dollar Tree tomorrow and get supplies! It will be a good excuse to not spread some of the 125 bales of pine straw that got delivered today! LOL. Thanks for the awesome ideas as usual!

Oh my, that’s a lot of pine straw. Yes, work on a flag instead! 😉
