The Inspiration Board

Are you loving that cool little kitchen inspiration board I made? If you haven’t seen already, there’s a new app called the Inspiration Board. Jamielyn from iHeart Naptime is the creative genius behind it.

The possibilities for this program are really cool. You can create a virtual pin board for a room in your home, some clothing styles, a showcase for your projects, scrapbook art and much much more. Or you could create your own artwork with inspirational quotes like this one:

And how about a place to clip all the hairstyles you want to try:

PHG note: I want to mention that this is phase one of the site. There are a few little bugs that I encountered. For example, if I hit my delete button (instead of clicking on the trash can icon) the program sends me out of the board I was working on. (So don’t accidentally use your delete button ;-).) But, I’m sure she’ll have those fixed shortly. And, there will be more awesome features added very soon.  The site works best with modern browsers that support html5, such as safari and google chrome.

Have a great weekend! I’ll see you next week for more action packed kitchen news, tutorials and more DIY goodness.

  1. I love the concept, but I haven’t been able to get it to work. My text boxes only show the first word or two that I type and I see no way to expand the size of the text box, and the trash can button doesn’t work. I emailed them yesterday about that. I hope they work out the bugs because the boards you’ve made are really cute!

  2. The Inspiration Board is a great idea. I love how easily the board can be created and for you to have it organized according to your preference. Images can be uploaded, cropped, and you can have the board decorated to your own unique taste. The drag and drop interface is my favorite feature.
