I’m so excited to share with you that I’m adding two more contributors to our DIY instructional team. These two gals have loads of DIY skills and they never hesitate to share their expertise. I hope you’ll give them each the warm welcome they deserve and hop over to their blogs to learn more about Melissa and Jessica!
First I want to introduce you to the fabulous Melissa from The Happier Homemaker. Melissa lives in the fantastic state of North Carolina (I might be a little biased, since I live there too.) While her husband is deployed, she whips her house into tip top shape with a keen eye for style and a willingness to save money by doing it herself.
Melissa offers easy tutorials on DIY home decor, crafts, and mind-blowing art, like this amazing Wooden World Map Art:
But, that’s not all! She’s also a master in the kitchen who is super generous in sharing her recipes. I need her to take me under her wing and teach me how to cook (or at least how to enjoy cooking.)
Speaking of under her wing, Melissa is also the mother of three boys. And oh boy, she really has control of those troops!
Please give the super talented and creative Melissa a big welcome cheer!
Jessica is the powerful force behind Décor Adventures, the DIY blog where she shares DIY tips, home improvement projects and more. Jessica currently resides in Upstate New York (until I can convince her to move to North Carolina to be closer to Melissa and me.) She lives in an old Colonial home with her husband and DIY partner, Dan.
By day she’s a 9-to-5 working gal. But, at night she changes into her super hero paint stained jeans and safety glasses.
As if she doesn’t already lead the superhero double life, she’s also a graduate student working on her Ph.D.
Jessica is an avid Habitat for Humanity fan and loves to upcycle as much as I do! She’ll wow you with some of her amazing furniture makeovers!
Or her room re-designs, like their living room makeover.
Plus, she has a few sewing tutorials like adding length to curtains. I’m super excited to have Jessica joining us because I’ve been following her blog since I started blogging!
Give it up for Jessica & Melissa and stay tuned for their DIY tutorials.
