De ja vú – August in Review

August has flown by as fast as the wind speeds in Hurricane Irene! I hope y’all weathered that storm okay. My brother and sister-in-law are still without power as far as I know.

I do have some happy news for you. It seems that there are a lot of Ugly Sofas out there. And luckily, thanks to UglySofa.com, there are about to be 3 less of them in the world!

Amanda, Judith & Carla S. come on down! You all have each won a brand-name-who-shall-not-be-named (ahem, PB&J minus the J) from UglySofa.com! Hooray, jump, scream and run around like a maniac!

Here are what these three ladies had to say about the slipcovers:

Amanda @ Serenity Now says Awesome, Giveaway! I’m going to watch the video in a minute. I can’t believe you got that giant wrinkly bunch of material to look so fantastic! I’m a believer! ;)
Judith says Fantastic! At the moment I desperate need the Loosefit Square Cushion Boxpleat Slipcover for a small sofa — but I can see myself utilizing bigger sizes in the future. Wow, I’ve been looking for exactly this!
Carla S. says Great post, very helpful. I’d love to have the Loosefit Sq. cushion Everyday Tie Slipcover Lg. sofa. I couldn’t believe their great prices.

The rest of you who are still suffering from UglySofa-itis, you don’t need to deal with this anymore. Check out UglySofa.com for the cure. You WILL NOT believe their prices. You could go without your Starbucks for a week and buy one!

  1. Hey there! I’m gonna have to look into those slip covers. I have two ugly couches and can’t afford new ones so that’s looking like the option of choice! You have surely been busy in August. I need to nosey around and see in more detail what you’ve been up to since I’ve been away from blog world for so long. Hope you have a nice evening.

  2. You AMAZE me, Brittany. You get more done in a month than I accomplish in three!

Congrats to your Ugly Sofa winners–they’re going to be happy girls, I know.

    Happy September!

  3. You have been busy, Brittany! I have to catch up on my blog reading! I like the branch and I’m glad you did a caulking tutorial. I am always second guessing myself on that. :)

  4. I am loving these month-in-review posts, it brings me right up to speed after my blog break. You sure have been busy, I love all your projects but the towelhanger-from-a-branch project is by far my favorite.
